My name is Jessica (she/her), and I am a 4th-year anthropology major. I grew up in Honolulu, but I currently live in Raleigh, NC. I have taken a public speaking course before in a different degree program. I didn’t care for speaking in front of a large group of people for school, but I often need to do it for work, and it doesn’t bother me as much there. I mostly use email and Instagram for my online communication. I use email for work and school, but use Instagram to communicate with my friends and brother. An interesting fact about myself is that I am a veterinary technician and I work in the emergency and critical care department of a specialty hospital. My husband and I have rescued 7 dogs and 4 cats from my practice.
